In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L’Oréal’s most rapidly growing units. Now, the Warsaw Shared Services employs around 100 people.
BSC carries out accounting processes for Central and Eastern Europe, for countries such as Poland, Baltics, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey or Israel. BSC consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence and partly also Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.

General Ledger Team Leader
We expect that you succeed in:
- Manage General Ledger team,
- Organize the team depend on workloads,
- Be in direct contact with other departments within BEST
- Organize the controlling closing for all entities
- Supervise the Compass closing for all countries
- Be the key point of contact for all countries
- Ensure backup for the team to guarantee service continuity
- Ensure continuous improvements of processes
- Be responsible for KPIs linked to GL activities and report them to relevant recipient from L'Oreal group
We are looking for:
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Data analyst skills with great storytelling approach
- Self-organized
- University degree (ACCA, CIMA would be an asset)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting/finance area
- Fluent in English;
- Advanced knowledge of SAP
- Proficient in MS Office (mainly MS Excel)
